England Netball is delighted to announce that Vladan Dragosavac has been appointed as Performance Pathway Manager.
Vladan joins from Basketball England where he held the role of Talent Development and Performance Manager and worked with Team England’s women’s basketball team who won a stunning silver medal at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
As Performance Pathway Manager, Vladan will be responsible for leading the world-class Roses ‘National Academy’ programme, which supports the growth and alignment of domestic performance and international netball, as England Netball looks to continue its success at the highest level.
Speaking about Vladan’s appointment, England Netball Performance Director Sara Symington said:
“After England’s historic gold medal at the recent Commonwealth Games, we are delighted to welcome Vladan to the England Netball Performance team, as we look to build on this success for the future.
“Vladan brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as a proven track record of identifying and developing players who have the potential to achieve international medal success.
“We look forward to working with him to bring through the exciting young talent we have in this country.”
Discussing his move to England Netball, Vladan said: “I am delighted to become a member of England Netball’s Performance and Pathway Team.
“The Roses performance at the Commonwealth Games is an inspiration for those pathway players with aspirations to wear the red dress and shows the sport is developing in right direction.
“I believe that my experience and knowledge of performance and talent development will be a great asset for both the Pathway and Futures programs; and the development of players and coaches who will be able to continue international success and improvements of the game in England.”
