England Netball is excited to announce a new partnership with high-street retailer Oasis.
The collaboration follows the launch of the retailers brand refresh, which highlights its new brand tagline ‘Lovely Does It’, and has been inspired by the Vitality Roses’ gold winning moment at the Commonwealth Games in April 2018.
With the UK set to welcome the Vitality Netball World Cup in July this year and after the Vitality Roses received a number of accolades following their triumph in the Gold Coast, including BBC Sport Personality’s Team of the Year, Oasis felt the Roses were the ultimate embodiment of its continuing campaign showing women who don’t just look lovely, but do lovely.
Oasis’ new campaign features Ama Agbeze, Jade Clarke, and Eboni Usoro-Brown. The campaign also celebrates the players’ further achievements outside of their netball careers, from mentoring schoolchildren and practicing law, to winning a scholarship and giving inspirational speeches.
Joanne Sinclair, Commercial Director at England Netball, said: “We are delighted that Oasis have partnered with England Netball and chosen to showcase some of our inspirational athletes who will be fronting Oasis’ brand new campaign.
“Their new campaign and clothing range is stunning and the Vitality Roses have really enjoyed trying some of their new looks. We’re looking forward to seeing their new brand refresh and some of the faces of the England team in their stores across the country.
“The last 12 months have been a whirlwind for the Roses and England Netball so it really is a great time to welcome Oasis into the netball family.
“Partnering with such an established high-street retailer is really exciting for England Netball as it enables us to engage with and reach a new audience helping us to continue to grow our wonderful sport.”
Oasis’ campaign and its partnership with England Netball has been brought to life through a series of individual and group shots, the campaign showcases key looks from Oasis’ SS19 collection along with props and a backdrop evocative of their netball success.
Sarah Welsh, Managing Director at Oasis, said: “This is a very exciting time for Oasis. We are passionate about ensuring that the Oasis brand remains fresh, modern and relevant for our customer. Women today are multi-faceted and the polymath woman who chooses to shop with us has many interests outside of fashion.
“The success of the England Netball team in the 2018 Commonwealth Games has created a ripple effect resulting in a significant increase in amateur and community driven teams. It felt like a natural fit to collaborate with England Netball, taking lead from this team of inspirational women who are the embodiment of the Oasis woman: women who don’t just look lovely, but do lovely.”
The Oasis England Netball campaign launches online and in stores today (26.04.19).
