New pre-competition theme for the Virtual Netball Club

The member exclusive Virtual Netball Club (VNC) is back for September with a pre-competition theme, getting netballers across the country ready for the return of competitive netball from 26 September.

We know players are itching to get back on court but ask that everyone continues to be patient as clubs, leagues and programme providers require time to put the risk mitigation measures in place to protect you.

In the meantime, all England Netball members can access a wealth of training resources including skill and fitness sessions to get netballers ready to return to play.

Pre-recorded strength and conditioning sessions are included within the VNC, providing a unique way for members to train like – and WITH – a Vitality Rose from the comfort of their own home!

With netball recently getting the green light to move to stage 4a (modified training), the Vitality Roses’ physiotherapist, Julie Snow, has shared some top tips and exercises that can help players keep those injuries at bay as they transition back into netball training.

Ten weeks of junior training with England Netball ambassador Sasha Corbin is also available for U11s with sessions designed around tactical game based scenarios and in line with the Bee Netball framework.

For all the coaches out there, the VNC is a great opportunity to watch and learn from others, take away some ideas, and think about what adaptations and changes you can make to apply the ideas to your own sessions and training.

You can also keep your coaching brains active with match analysis sessions with Vitality Roses’ Head Coach Jess Thirlby and special guests, as well as have access to in-depth coaching and leadership insights from Jess, the British Army and British Canoeing to name a few.

Take a look at the latest Coaching Blog for more tips and inspiration on how to maximise your exclusive member access to the VNC from a coaching perspective.

There’s also an opportunity to get to know the Vitality Roses and Futures better, and learn about their journeys on and off the court with the Netball Natter series. This includes Roses Future Kira Rothwell’s gold medal worthy story about attending the 100m final at the London 2012 Olympics.

As always, make sure to check your Member Monday emails for weekly updates and session links to access both the live and pre-recorded sessions.

Unlock access to a range of exclusive netball benefits, including the VNC, by pledging your support for the #RiseAgain campaign.
