The 2021 Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) season has featured many incredible performances from the Vitality Roses and it’s almost time for our athletes Down Under to take to the court.
Australia’s Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) league begins on Saturday 1 May, while New Zealand’s ANZ Premiership gets underway this weekend on Sunday 18 April.
Some of England’s finest talent is represented across the two elite competitions and we will be tracking their progress every week throughout both 2021 campaigns.
The wait is finally over! We are thrilled to announce that @GeorginaFisher4 will be finally joining us later in March after her visa application was accepted by Immigration New Zealand.

Former Saracens Mavericks goaler George Fisher is preparing to make her debut for Southern Steel after linking up with her teammates for the first time a few weeks ago.
The two-time VNSL champion has impressed in her 15 caps for the Vitality Roses and her performances saw Steel acquire her services where she will line up alongside 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup winner Shannon Saunders.
Fisher had the opportunity to sample her new home in the Autumn during the Cadbury Netball Series and now she’s beginning her adventure in New Zealand with her new club.
Her first match is at home against last year’s grand finalists The Good Oil Tactix taking place at 07:15 on Sunday 18 April and English viewers can watch the game for free on the Netball New Zealand website here.
Fisher is joined in the country by netball legend Ama Agbeze who formerly captained the 2018 Commonwealth Games England squad.
Agbeze led England to victory in the Gold Coast and has enjoyed a successful career with numerous franchises across Australia and New Zealand.
And ahead of the 2021 season, she was called into the Northern Mystics squad as an injury replacement player and could make her debut for the club on Monday 19 April at 08:15 in their season opener against Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.
