#HereIfYouNeed: Join member exclusive webinars with The Well HQ

We’ve teamed up with pioneering female health experts The Well HQ to run a series of exclusive webinars for England Netball members.

The Well HQ was founded in early 2021 when former GB rower turned international coach Baz Moffat, The Digital GP Dr Bella Smith, and former English Institute of Sport scientist Dr Emma Ross joined forces to usher in a new era of best practice for active women.

The unique series of webinars, which will run from April until August with support from England Netball partners, will cover a range of issues facing women on court and through life.

For the first webinar as part of Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ll be joined by Vitality Rose and mum Eboni Usoro-Brown to talk all things motherhood as well as health on and off the court. Bookings are now open for England Netball members via the latest Virtual Netball Club email.

Here are all the details of the upcoming webinars…

4 May, 7:30pm – Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week: Pre- and Post-Natal Training with Vitality Rose Eboni Usoro-Brown

Evidence shows that without supporting women at the pre- and post-natal stage the health consequences can last for years, and that’s even more true for athletic women. Join us for this hour-long session with Baz Moffat from The Well HQ and Eboni Usoro-Brown to look at how best to support athletes in that training environment and the sporting landscape when it comes to women and families.

13 May, 7.30pm – Mental Health Awareness Week: Mindset and Confidence

In this hour-long session, The Well HQ will be joined by Olympic mindset coach and leader Dean Leak, who has 15 years’ experience in elite sport and health & fitness industry, to look at how the female brain works and what that means for how we train, perform and develop female talent so we thrive in health, sport and life.

18 May, 7.30pm – Supporting Teenage Athletes

In this hour-long session, we’ll look at why girls drop out of sport at twice the rate of boys, and how to support teenage athletes by understanding what the changes they’re going through mean for how they train and perform.
