netball post

Last week we updated you all to let you know that we were experiencing some technical issues that were impacting performance levels in ENgage.

We are hugely sorry for the frustration this has caused and it goes without saying that this is not how we wanted to begin our new season. Multiple teams have been working tirelessly to resolve the issues that many of you have been facing and we thank you for your ongoing patience.

In spite of these issues, last week we saw our third, fourth and fifth biggest affiliation days and we now already have a 55,000 strong membership. We know this could only have been achieved as a result of many of you persevering through these performance challenges and we are so grateful for that support.

We have made a number of improvements over the last week which we believe have resolved the majority of performance issues and are investing in further upgrades to ensure we can cater for increased demand in the future.

There are still a few isolated issues that we are aware of and we are continuing to work through these, so thank you to those of you who have been extremely patient as we try to help address outstanding queries and support as many people as possible return to court.

Our brilliant team of Netball Development Officers and Coaches, Regional Coordinators and Customer Experience agents have been working round the clock to try and help as many members and registered clubs and leagues as they can, so we ask that you bear with them while we work through the backlog of enquiries.

In the meantime, you can find guides and answers to common ENgage questions in our Help Centre here: https://englandnetball.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/categories/4403684146450-MEMBERSHIP

As we outlined in our email last week, we have agreed a two-week grace period with our insurance broker Howden. All players and volunteers (including qualified coaches and officials) who purchase their 2021/22 membership by 23:59 on 16 September 2021 will be covered by England Netball’s programme of insurance from 1 September 2021 for their participation in recognised and authorised netball activity.

To those of you that are starting training and leagues in the coming weeks, good luck – and thank you as ever for being part of the brilliant Netball Family.
