Netball players celebrating

This December, national netball competition is returning with a one-off U15 and U17 National Club Cup.

After a challenging 18 months of disruption to the 2020/21 season, we are excited to say England Netball are hosting a one-off netball competition.

On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 December, a fantastic U15 and U17 National Club Cup will be held across the country, allowing athletes who missed out last season to have their chance to compete on the national stage.

The two-day event is open entry for national teams and will work on a regional basis across two venues:

Updated 19/11/2021: Due to issues with the venue, the competition for teams from London and South East, South and South West regions will take place in early 2022. This has been communicated to all entrants with further information to follow in due course.

Saturday 18 December is exclusively for U15 teams, while Sunday 19 December is for U17s, offering a fun-filled weekend of netball for clubs across the country.

At each tri-regional competition, there will be a maximum of 18 teams (54 teams per age group in total), and every team will play at least five games of two exciting 12-minute halves.

The winner of each tri-regional competition will then compete against the other winners at an England Netball international or Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) event!

The entry fee for the National Club Cup is £120 per team.

If your team missed out on competing in the 2020/21 season and you’re raring to return to the national stage, then sign up!

Updated 03/11/2021: Due to the volume of entries received, we’re closing applications for…

  • U15: North West, East Midlands, South and L&SE, and Yorkshire teams
  • U17: Midlands, L&SE and South teams

Teams will be notified in due course about whether they’ve secured a place (offered on a first come, first served basis). Any extra teams will be placed on the waiting list.

To enter your team for the National Club Cup, click here to complete our entry form. The entry deadline is 12am on Sunday 28 November. Entry regulations are available to view here.

Make sure you’re following us on FacebookInstagram and Twitter for more details and updates on the event.

To ensure a balanced representation of regions in the competitions, entries will initially be based on six teams per region (first come, first served). Should less than six teams enter from a region, these spots will be made available to teams from other regions. Should there be a lack of entries at a particular venue, we may offer teams a spot at an alternate venue. All teams and players must be members of England Netball to be eligible to compete.
