12 teams will be competing for three spaces in Premier League 3 for the 2022-23 season when the Premier League Play-Offs take place this weekend.
Clan, Eclipse and Essex Open, who finished 8th, 9th and 10th respectively, will be battling to keep their position in the league.
This is familiar territory for Eclipse, who were promoted to Premier League 3 for the 2019/2020 season after a spectacular Play-Offs weekend – starting out as London & South East regional champions in 2018/2019 and finishing as one of the three newly-promoted teams to Premier League 3.
Nine regional winners will join Clan, Eclipse and Essex Open as Poly Netball Club, Northants Storm, Wimbourne Aquarians, Hatfield Hawks, Henley, Hi-Tech, Riverside, Eagles and Trafford all aim to reach the Premier League.
After an unprecedented 2019/2020 season, where matches were cancelled and no promotion or relegation took place, it will be an exciting opportunity for all teams to once again battle it out on court.
Sadly, West Midlands regional winners Parkside (and the second-place team) are unable to attend due to COVID-19, meaning Henley – who came in third place – will now be representing the West Midlands in the Play-Offs competition.
It was a nail-biting regional competition for Trafford, taking until the last game of the season to secure their place in the Play-Offs – just beating Blackpool to the top spot.
For Hi-Tech and Riverside, this is another chance for them to make it to the Premier League in the Play-Offs competition.
The action gets underway from 10:30am on Saturday 23 April at Warwick University and will continue across the weekend.
