Netball teams ready for 2022 School Games National Finals

11 netball teams are set to compete to be crowned champions as the School Games National Finals (SGNF) returns for 2022.

Taking place between Thursday 1 and Sunday 4 September at Loughborough University, the School Games is the UK’s biggest multi-sport event for young athletes.

The netball competition begins at 9am on Friday 2 September and features 11 under 15 teams, with representation from 10 Vitality Netball Superleague sides.

After beating Surrey Storm in the 2021 final, Manchester Thunder will be looking to defend their title.

The competing teams are:

  • Leeds Rhinos
  • London Pulse
  • Loughborough Lightning
  • Manchester Thunder
  • North East
  • Saracens Mavericks
  • Severn Stars
  • Sirens
  • Surrey Storm
  • Team Bath
  • Wasps

42 games, which is 1,536 minutes of netball, will be played at the 2022 School Games with over 1,500 goals likely to be scored. All the fixtures are available to view here.
