The 2023 Under 16 National Clubs Finals, in association with the British Army, will take place at the Jean Brown Arena at Redbridge Leisure Centre on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April. 

The competition sees some of the best up-and-coming young netballers from the top 18 teams from across the country go head-to-head to be crowned champions. 

All the teams have successfully navigated their respective regional competitions to qualify for the National Finals.

2022 winners YWCA Bury will be looking to secure back-to-back titles and defend their crown. 

Meanwhile, Eagles will be determined to go one better this time around having been beaten by Bury in last year’s final and having also come second in 2019. 

Third-placed Turnford and fourth-placed Stratford Thunderbirds are also back for another shot at the title. 

2019 champions Oldham, who came fifth last time out, will be aiming to lift the trophy once again.

  • AP Saints – London & South East winner 
  • Charnwood Rutland – East Midlands runner-up 
  • Eagles – South winner 
  • Grangetown – North East winner 
  • Hatfield – East runner-up 
  • KCNC – London & South East runner-up 
  • Kingston – Yorkshire & Humberside winner 
  • Leeds Athletic – Yorkshire & Humberside runner-up 
  • Northants Storm – East Midlands winner 
  • Oaksway – North East runner-up 
  • Oldham – North West winner 
  • Poole – South West winner 
  • Stratford Thunderbirds – West Midlands winner 
  • Sutton Town – West Midlands runner-up 
  • Teignbridge Titans Trojans – South West runner-up 
  • Turnford – East winner 
  • Weston Park Blades – South runner-up 
  • YWCA Bury – North West runner-up 

For part one of the competition, teams are grouped by their finishing place within their region. There are six sections with each one containing a winner and two runners-up or vice versa – teams from the same region are split across Groups A-C and Groups D-F. 

For parts two and three of the competition, teams will be regrouped according to their placing within their respective group after mini round-robins against all other teams. 

The final stage sees matches played out to decide the final standings, including semi-finals and a final. 

For the first time this season, an U16 National Club Final MVP Award will be handed out for the best player of the tournament.
