England Netball have partnered with EDI specialist VERCIDA Consulting to boost our collective diversity intelligence. During May 2021 VERCIDA will be independently conducting focus groups on a number of key topics.
We are looking for people (approx. 10-15 per group) to be part of focus groups to discuss equality and inclusion relating to the following topics. Each focus group will be confidential and conducted virtually and will last approximately 1 hour. We are keen to hear from a diverse range of individuals with different experiences within netball who can share their unique insights and thoughts around equality, inclusion and discrimination of all types and at all levels of our sport.
1. Playing and participation
We are looking for players or parents of players who can contribute to enhanced discussions around equality and inclusion, participating at all levels of grassroots netball and in a variety of environments from Back to Netball to Premier League to the performance pathway.
2. Coach, Host, Official and Tutor
We are looking for individuals who can contribute to enhanced discussions around equality and inclusion, with experience of the coaching and/or officiating pathways and who are a coach, host, official or tutor at any level of netball and in a variety of environments.
3. Volunteering
We are looking for individuals who volunteer in netball (outside of coach, host, official and tutor) at all levels of the sport that can contribute to enhanced discussions around equality and inclusion. This includes parent volunteers supporting a local club, event volunteers and club, league, county and region committee volunteers.

Please note, in order to effectively deliver these focus groups if there are a high level of interest we may not be able to include all individuals who express an interest. We therefore ask that you complete the broader inclusion survey to ensure your thoughts feed into this project.
