England Netball is delighted to be signed up as an Official Partner of Coaching Week for 2019.
During 3rd-9th June 2019, clubs, coaches, community groups, education, businesses and the public will come together to showcase and explore how coaches play a role in building healthier, happier communities.
Coaching means helping people to be active. So whatever your title – coach, fitness instructor, leader, teacher or trainer – if you’re helping people to be active, you’re part of the coaching family.
In an increasingly digital world, where sedentary lifestyles and loneliness are on the rise, the need to get people moving and connected has never been greater. Coaching is a great solution to this modern-day problem.
Great coaching is all about PEOPLE as highlighted by UK Coaching’s principles:
Person-centred
Empowering
Organised
Positive
Learning
Engaging
Our Netball Family includes some fantastic coaches, who are not only nurturing and developing current and future talent but also positively impacting the lives of many participants and helping to create more socially-cohesive communities.
During Coaching Week, we’ll be shining a spotlight on some brilliant examples of the work coaches have done over the last 12 months.
