Yesterday evening England Netball CEO Joanna Adams was on BBC Newsnight, speaking about the progress and future of women’s sport. Following England winning the Women’s Cricket World Cup on Sunday, Joanna spoke alongside former England cricket player Isa Guha about the potential of women’s sport, where it can go and how fast it can get there.

As well as the sensational victory at Lord’s this weekend, the Women’s Euro Football tournament is currently underway, and the Women’s Rugby World Cup is set to take place this summer. In 2018, London will host the Women’s Hockey World Cup and of course, the 2019 Netball World Cup will take place in Liverpool. 

Joanna highlights this magic moment and the opportunities these exciting events will bring, showcasing the very best of women’s sport and creating a lasting legacy.
