England Netball renews with SECUTIX to enhance fan experience

England Netball has renewed its partnership with SECUTIX, the global ticketing engagement platform as part of a multi-year contract extension. The partnership, which sees SECUTIX remain as England Netball’s ticketing technology partner, initially began in 2019 and aims to ensure enhanced fan experience and innovation within the sport.

As part of the extended partnership, mobile digital tickets powered by SECUTIX’s TIXNGO secure mobile ticketing platform will be implemented for all major events including Vitality Roses’ home international fixtures and Netball Super League (NSL) centralised games with the new ticketing system set to play a crucial role in managing the increased demand as the sport continues to grow, demonstrated most recently with the highest ever attendance at an NSL Grand Final.

Fans will be able to transfer tickets and access the major events using a brand-new England Netball ticketing app set to launch later in the year, which will include the ability for ticket purchasers to store and download their tickets within the app for the first time. Fans will know exactly where their tickets are stored, have the ability to share tickets with a group and the option to receive push notifications.

Information on how to download and navigate the app will be shared in advance of any major event with full information roll out for all fans that purchase tickets in the future.

Mark Foster, England Netball Chief Commercial Officer, said: “I’m thrilled that this new partnership will bring an improved mobile digital ticketing to our fans. As we continue to grow the sport and engage with our audience, having a reliable and trusted ticketing partner is crucial in order to offer an outstanding fan experience.

“We’ve had a great working relationship with SECUTIX and I’m delighted we are continuing our partnership. Their support has been a huge benefit in terms of introducing innovations to improve fan engagement and it will also make it easier for netball clubs to purchase group bookings and share tickets with their members. This is great news for netball fans.”

SECUTIX UK & Ireland Managing Director David Hornby added: “We’re proud to continue to support England Netball’s ambitions to grow its fanbase. The new system will debut with the upcoming season, allowing fans to enjoy a more convenient and secure way to purchase, manage, and access tickets for all England Netball events.

“We look forward to a successful partnership and are excited to play a role in the digital transformation of their ticketing operations.”

Netball Super League’s Grand Final was one of SECUTIX’s key sporting moments this summer, along with The Hundred, events with the LTA, the Men’s T20 World Cup, and the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
