England Nets has grown and developed over the last two World Championships that have been entered, coming away with a gold medal on both occasions.
In 2015 the U18 women’s squad performed brilliantly and brought home the first gold followed quickly by the women sealing the title in New Zealand in 2016.
Since then hard work has been going on to continue to put the game of Nets on the map; not only in international competition, but also at home in England.
Following a series of open events & selections that involved over 200 players and attracted interest from several coaches, officials and volunteers, we are delighted to confirm the squads that are in place for the event later this year.
Congratulations to all those involved, particularly those selected; the intensity of training sessions will now increase and we hope that England can bring home another gold in 2019 when they tour to South Africa.
