England Trio for Wales vs New Zealand Series

England Netball are delighted to confirm that three English International Umpires will take control of the Swansea University International Test Series between Wales and New Zealand in Cardiff, Wales.

This series sees the Welsh side face New Zealand on home soil for the first time in 27 years and Ian Fuller, Jackie Mizon and Kate Stephenson will be on hand to ensure the two match series showcases the sport at its highest level.

Gary Burgess, England Netball Officiating Manager passed on his best wishes to the international trio. ‘I wish Ian, Jackie and Kate the best of luck for this series.

All three umpires are now well established throughout the world and I know that they will bring their unique skills to promote fair play and to enable the players to showcase their fantastic skills.

England Netball’s International Umpires are as busy as ever with appointments being allocated to matches and Test Series’ all over the world. Never have there been so many opportunities to officiate at this level’.

There will be further English involvement at this series with International Umpire Assessor Heather Gleadall on hand to ensure the umpires are put through their paces and provide the best service possible.

England Netball wishes all of the officials the best of luck.

The Swansea University International Test Series runs from 7th to 8th February at the Ice Arena Cardiff, Wales and will be shown live on the BBC Red Button (19.15pm Tuesday and Wednesday).
