The Roses U21 squad are heading out to Canberra, Australia in August where they will face their counterparts from the Diamonds and New Zealand.
It is a chance for the young England team to compete in high quality international competition as the build-up to the 2017 World Youth Championships in Botswana, intensifies.
The host nation will be entering two sides in a six-team round robin format to be hosted at Netball Australia’s Centre of Excellence between August 11th – 14th.
Also taking part in the tournament will be an Aotearora Maori team and a combined SIS/SAS squad that will be made up of a mix of athletes from around Australia.
The selection for this tournament will take place at Loughborough on Monday 27th June. Head Coach Tamsin Greenway will lead the side down under.
Looking ahead to the tour, Greenway said: “This tournament is a fantastic opportunity for the players to face top class opposition in the build up to Botswana next year.
“This will be my first competitive competition in charge and I’m looking forward to seeing what our team can do.”
