Following the success of last year’s event in London, the UK edition of Red Bull Switch Up is heading to EventCity, Manchester, on 23 November 2019.
The fast-paced netball format puts an exciting twist on the traditional game, testing players’ speed, skill and adaptability.
With teams consisting of just four players, every player gets the chance to attack and defend, and even shoot!
The game still contains all the essential elements of netball that we know and love, but with some exciting rules thrown in, such as being able to shoot from outside the D for a whopping three points!
Games are also much shorter – consisting of just two five-minute halves – and the court is cut in half.
With two leagues to enter – Elite and Challenger – the one-day tournament is open to players of all abilities.
Last year, 72 teams battled it out to take home the title in the respective finals.
