This weekend sees the 2022 Under 14 National Club Finals take place at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
Delivered in association with the British Army, the best 18 teams from across the country will come together for 63 matches, staged across two days of competition.
Due to the pandemic, this will be the first time in three years that the event has been held.
Oldham Netball Club will be the team to beat having won the last three finals. In 2019, they overcame YWCA Bury in an all North West final after winning all their games across the weekend.
Team Matrix, Eagles and Leeds Athletic, who all made it to the latter stages of the competition in 2019, return for this year’s contest along with Turnford who finished as runners up in 2018.
The first day of the competition will see all teams contest in games across six sections, grouped by their finishing place in each region. Each of the six groups will contain a winner and two runners up, or vice versa. Teams from the same region will also be split across the groups.
The teams will then be regrouped, depending on their placings, as part of the second and third stages of the competition.
On the final day, matches will be played out to decide the final standings, including semi-finals and a final.
Fixtures and results will be updated throughout weekend, along with final standings, on the U14 National Club Finals page.
