England Nets is a fast, furious and exciting format of Netball with both female and male players and during 2019, squads will take to court in the Nets World Championships in South Africa…..just after England have completed the Netball World Cup in Liverpool.
Are you an ambitious coach, umpire or volunteer who would like to both put your skills into practice whilst also gaining valuable international experience? This could be the opportunity for you!
We want to involve a whole range of coaches, volunteers and officials in this unique opportunity both in the lead up to the event as well as travelling with the selected squads to compete.
What are we looking for?
Head Coaches – who will be involved in both the UK-based training as well as travelling to World Indoor Netball Association’s World Championship during Autumn 2019
Assistant Coaches and Team Managers – again coaches who can assist the Head Coach and/or act as Team Manager for the squads whilst travelling
Specialist Coaches – we’re looking for coaches who can support with the UK training programme; we’re looking for specialist shooting coaches, Strength & Conditioning experts, coaches who can develop mid-court magic and those that can support the defensive unit to apply pressure to any opposition’s attacking play
Umpires – if you’re a developing umpire and have a minimum B Award and would be interested in trying your hand at international Nets umpiring, we’d love to hear from you
Volunteers – those involved in Nets report just how much fun it is and how much of a family feel is created. There are opportunities for volunteers both supporting the programme generally as well as travelling with the teams
I’m interested, what should I do?
