You may have noticed this summer that we’ve been posting pictures of a lovely blue netball court in some unusual locations…
This is the beginning of #NetballAnywhere, which is a transportable netball court and the aim is to get our game happening where it wouldn’t usually – car parks, town squares, absolutely anywhere!
If you live in West Yorkshire, you have lots of opportunities to get involved with #NetballAnywhere at a location near you this summer with LOADS of activities already planned.
West Yorkshire Police, the council, ASDA head office and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation have been working closely with our Netball Development Community Coach Nathan Jones to deliver sessions alongside consultancy agencies, insurance groups and solicitors.
With lots of businesses already involved, why not get us over to your office to get your colleagues moving in their lunch break?
Nathan says:
“The aim is to get netball happening where it wouldn’t usually! Some are one-off sessions and some are small festivals happening on the court.”
