The England Netball National Schools competition is the biggest and longest running competition in English netball. Supported by principal partners of the event, the British Army, U14 finalists are ready to compete for the title this weekend.
After Hartpury School were crowned U19 champions and Putney High took home the U16 title last weekend, the U14 National Schools Finals in association with the British Army will be held on 22 March at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
The competition will see 18 teams take to court who all started their 2025 National Schools journey in the County Rounds, from which the top schools advanced to the Regional Schools Finals, with the top two sides from each age category from each region then qualifying for the National Finals weekend.
2024’s U14 champions Berkhamsted School did not qualify for this year’s U14 finals, leaving an opportunity for Putney High and Yarm School, who finished in second and third place respectively last year, to do one or two better than their previous placings.
For those wanting to watch the action from home, the National Schools Finals in association with the British Army will be streamed on englandnetball.tv here. A day pass to all U14 games costs £4.99.
Fixtures, live scores and results will be available to follow on the Netball Connect app which can be downloaded here. For those attending the event in person, QR codes will be on display around the venue so that spectators can easily access the results page throughout the weekend.
The finals competition begins with teams being split into two sections where they will compete in a round-robin format. The top two teams in each section will then progress to the semi-finals, followed by third-place play-offs and then the final. All the fixtures can be viewed here.
