Carol Fenn (East)

For 12 months Carol has maintained control of affiliation, assisted the secretary on setting up and maintaining Norfolk County Netball email and contact details for all clubs within the county. She encourages recreational players to compete within the Norfolk leagues as well as promoting affiliation to clubs.

Wendy Hayward (East Midlands)

Wendy’s role of Chairperson supports a number of roles from coaches, team managers, umpires, volunteers and leaders in the club and not least the young people attending the club and organising fixtures. Wendy has been at the forefront of increasing participation at the club, now with 125 young people in attendance.

Jenny Harrold (London and South East)

Jenny has been heavily involved in promoting and organising school competitions regionally and nationally for at least 20 years. She is a campaigner for competition opportunities for young players in particular. In the Middlesex County there have been very few administration positions within the region that Jenny has not done over the last 30+ years.

Lesley Robbins (South West) – WINNER

At Team Bath Community Netball Club, Lesley supports the committee, coaches, umpires and captains. She has been heavily involved in fundraising for the club as well as acting as treasurer and updating the club website. With the consistent yearly growth of the junior section, she has been able to keep up with the constant demand.

Julie Tinsley (West Midlands)

Julie has been involved as a netball administrator (and coach) at club and county level for over 25 years. She has initiated a county High Five league, which had 8 teams in its first season! By organising (and running) practical courses, Julie has enabled young umpires to feel confident enough to officiate in school/county events.

Jennie Simmons (Yorkshire)

Jennie is a valued member of Humberside County Netball Association and has set up a Winter Junior League within Humberside for Years 7 under 14 and under 16 for all our clubs. Jennie’s presence is imperative in supporting the Performance Group with the Academy Talent programme from Development, Satellite and County and brings out the best in the players she coaches.

Claire Belcher-Smith (North West)

Claire is responsible for all general administration, implementation and growth of all marketing and communication activities related to events and Simcocks Netball Club. She is responsible for all affiliation information within the club for both seniors & juniors amounting to around 33 seniors & 64 juniors. As well as this, she regularly plays and umpires.

Sam Moore (North East)

Sam’s work has helped establish a thriving mixed league, which has attracted a wide range of players. Sam advertises the social league widely around Tyne and Wear county and within the North East to encourage teams to enter. She has taken over the administration of a social league that provides a route into formal league netball for new teams and Back to Netball teams.

Melanie Phillips (South)

Melanie was instrumental in setting up Matrix Netball club only 3 years ago. She is completely committed to Matrix club and all its players, coaches and parents; without her the club would not function. She organises various fixtures for all age groups in the club.
