You make netball happen…

Thank you.  Without you, Netball wouldn’t be the number one team sport played by women and girls, Over 1.3 million children play netball in schools, and around 230,000 adults play netball weekly during the season.  It is an exciting time, the game continues to grow in popularity and England Netball are revolutionising its approach to training the people who make the game happen.

We are committed to educating, retaining and developing enthusiastic and committed officials with support and mentoring in a safe and constructive learning environment. The fundamental goal is to enable individuals to flourish in officiating.

You learn through your experiences.  After a match, you know what went well, how the players interacted with you and what could be improved for next time.  Think about your match and use your reflections to make it even better next time.

Officials never stop learning and there are lots of places you can go to develop your netball officiating by taking a qualification, working with a local mentor, or simply catching up with other officials in your community.
