The finalists for the UK Coaching Awards, which will be held in Wembley on the 29 November, were announced last week and netball will be represented!
From hundreds of nominees, Jane Lomax has been chosen as one of the finalists for Coach Developer of the Year.
After the success of Abigail Blythe who won the Junior Official of the Year at the SOUK Awards in October, it’s fantastic to have another netball finalist for a national awards ceremony.
Jane is currently a lecturer at the University of Chichester and has worked within psychology support with a range of performers, coaches and officials, including olympic level.
Jane is a UKCC tutor, assessor and internal verifier for England Netball, a level 3 mentor, is part of the England Netball coaching advisory group and has previously been on the high performance advisory group.
Over the past year, Jane has been of great value to netball coaches across the country.
She has tutored courses creating inspirational learning environments, assessed level 2 and level 3 learners, been an encouraging mentor along with writing and leading a mentor training day.
For many years, Jane has gone above and beyond for netball and has had an immeasurable positive influence on our sport.
Everyone at England Netball wishes Jane the best of luck for the UK Coaching Awards evening later this month.
