Could you be the Nets national coach?

Over the last few years the Indoor Netball, or ‘Nets’ squads, for England have gone from strength to strength and we’re on the look-out for a team of coaches to get involved and help continue this success!

In 2014, England ladies achieved a Silver medal at the World Aged Indoor Netball Championships, in 2015 the U18 team went one better and came back from Australia as World Champions which was repeated by the Open aged ladies also bringing back the Gold medal in the 2016 World Cup held in New Zealand.

The next World Championships are being held in South Africa in the autumn of 2018 and the planning and recruitment starts now!

  • Would being involved in a World Cup be your dream?
  • Are you an ambitious coach who would love to be involved with a group of talented athletes representing their country?
  • Can you motivate, support and develop athletes to create a cohesive, dynamic and skilful team?

If the above questions excite you, then there is a number of roles available for the upcoming 2018 World Indoor Netball Aged group Championships and we would love to hear from you. For more information and an application please click HERE or e mail nets@englandnetball.co.uk for more information.

Extensive knowledge and experience of Nets is not essential, but interested coaches & Team Managers would need to be willing to develop their technical and tactical understanding, but support and opportunity to do this would be identified. There is also a fantastic Nets network with so many lasting friendships made and many of the players, coaches, team managers very quickly become hooked and stay involved.
