NPL U17
In the first stage of this competition, participating teams were split into two groups. Each team within their group played each other once throughout the season and the results from these groups will decide who they face in the Final Round on Sunday 10 April.
All teams still have one more game to play on Saturday 9 April to conclude the League, with there still being plenty to decide on the table.
Competing for the top spot are Manchester Thunder and London Pulse. Thunder are currently top in their group on 20 points after winning four from four with a 1.62 goal average. Pulse have also enjoyed a positive group stage, only losing once to Surrey Storm in a Round 4 nail-biter, which ended 52-51.
Aiming for third are Leeds Rhinos and Surrey Storm. Group A side Rhinos have had a high-scoring season, they put away 74 goals in their Round 6 clash against Wasps and have not scored less than 50 goals in a match this year.
Surrey Storm also displayed dominance in their group and they too have only lost one fixture this season, being edged out 42-44 by Saracens Mavericks in their Round 7 meeting.
Saturday’s Round 9 fixtures will conclude NPL U17 league standings, with the winners being announced on that day.
Finals
Sunday 10th April will see a day of play-offs. The team that finishes first in Group A will face the first-placed side from Group B, the second-placed side from Group A will face the second-placed team from Group B, etc. The winners will be decided in a final on Sunday at 17:45.
