Here’s a look ahead to Premier League 1, 2 and 3.
Premier League 1
Ten-time winners and reigning champions Oldham get their new season underway at home to Charnwood, who enjoyed a successful first stint in the first division, finishing third. This season sees Oldham captain Kerry Almond transition from the court to the coaching staff taking an assistant coaching role meanwhile Jade Clarke makes her return.
Head Coach Debbie Hallas said: “It’s about building consistency and introducing younger players into the squad to gain experience as we rely on them toward the end of the season. Although we will lose Kerry, I’m delighted that Jade Clarke is joining us for the season, she will add so much on and off the court, particularly in the development of the younger players.”
Last year’s runners-up Academy, who finished just four points behind Oldham, welcome newly promoted The Downs to Kingston Upon Thames for their season opener.
Meanwhile, 2023 Premier League two champions Grangetown are back in the top division after earning promotion at the first attempt. They get their 2024 campaign underway with a home tie against YWCA Bury.
