'This Was My World Cup': Vitality Rose Eboni Usoro-Brown

Last year, Liverpool welcomed the world as host city of the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019.

The tournament, which concluded with the Vitality Roses claiming bronze, helped England Netball create a lasting legacy for the sport in the UK and inspired thousands to watch, play and participate in netball.

To reflect on the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019, a series of features called ‘This Was My World Cup’ have been produced with a number of different people to share their perspectives on the event.

Vitality Rose and Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 bronze medallist Eboni Usoro-Brown reflects on the event one year on with presenter Zara Buck.

In the interview, the defender talks about her reaction to getting the call-up from Tracey Neville, the “1,000-player squad”, winning her 100th cap and other standout memories.
