Last year, Liverpool welcomed the world as host city of the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019.
The tournament, which concluded with the Vitality Roses claiming bronze, helped England Netball create a lasting legacy for the sport in the UK and inspired thousands to watch, play and participate in netball.
To reflect on the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019, a series of features called ‘This Was My World Cup’ have been produced with a number of different people to share their perspectives on the event.
From four standout memories to the legacy created by the event, including Vitality’s coaching pledge, former Vitality Roses Head Coach Tracey Neville reflects with presenter Zara Buck.
In the interview, Tracey also talks about lockdown and shares her pride at the innovation shown by coaches across the country to keep netball going during this period.
