A 12-strong England U17 squad will be looking to defend their title at the Europe Netball U17 Championship from 23-26 February in Antrim, Northern Ireland.
England won the previous edition of the tournament in 2022, completing a clean sweep, but will face still competition to lift the trophy again.
Across the four days, the young Roses will face Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as well as United Arab Emirates who qualified from the Challenge section.
The squad are all athletes from the Roses Academy who have taken part in regular camps throughout the season to improve both the technical and tactical sides of their game, as well as develop individually off the court through a series of performing well sessions.
Prior to the competition, the team will meet up for a preparation camp in Loughborough from Monday 20 February.
Discussing the athletes selected and the upcoming matches, Roses Academy Head Coach Sheonah Forbes said: “Congratulations to all of the athletes named to represent England at the upcoming Europe Netball U17 Championship.
“It was one of the trickiest squad selections that I’ve been involved in due to the high standard of performances across the court.
“The strength and depth of talent we have coming through is incredibly exciting and testament to all those who support our pathway.
“We take pride in giving athletes the opportunity to represent their country and this group will gain valuable experiences through playing the other nations in an international arena.
“We can’t wait to see our young Roses step up and perform in the pressured competition environment.”
