The Vitality Netball Superleague now has its official top four for the semi-finals on Saturday 30th April.
After the weekend’s action, Loughborough Lightning are now out of the running to make the play-off places.
After Lightning lost at the hands of Manchester Thunder on Saturday, they were hanging on for a Team Northumbria win over Team Bath in a later fixture to still be in with a shout of a top four finish.
But after Bath picked up the away win in Northumbria, Lightning’s hopes of staying in the hunt for the Superleague title were dashed.
This means Hertfordshire Mavericks, Manchester Thunder, Surrey Storm and Team Bath will be taking part in the play-offs and the last two rounds of action are vital to which teams will be at home for their semi-final fixture.
Another allocation of tickets for the Grand Final on Saturday 7th May will be released shortly, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled!
