Waimarama Taumaunu to link up with England Netball

England Netball is pleased to confirm that Waimarama Taumaunu will be joining up with the England Roses performance department this summer.

The experienced New Zealander is coming to support England Netball with the development of their 2019 Netball World Cup campaign.

We are dedicated to providing our Roses team with the best possible support network and training programme ahead of the home World Cup, and believe Wai will be a valuable asset in this strategic process.

This will be the second time that Wai has linked up with England Netball following her role as Performance Director between 1998 and 2003.

During this time she also took on the role of Assistant Coach for the Roses at the 2003 Netball World Championships.

Wai most recently led the Silver Ferns to the final of the 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2015 Netball World Cup.

We will welcome Wai to our training camp in mid-June as preparations begin towards the SANZEA Series in August.
