This week marks National Volunteer Week – so why not use this time to say thank you to the volunteers who help out where you play?
England Netball would not exist without volunteers, and in order for netball to happen across the country many people give a huge amount of time and energy freely to our sport.
That’s why this week we’re focusing on the unspoken thank you which deserves to be brought to light.
Have you noticed just how many volunteers you interact with every time you take part in netball?
The next time you turn up to take to court, have a look around you – how many volunteers can you see?
We guess it will be many more than you think!
Supporters, parents (yes, even parents!), helpers, coaches, officials, board members, league and club officials and many more – these are all people who generously give up their time so we can all take part in this wonderful sport.
